Every year, more than 577 million tons of agro-industrial waste are generated from crops, which are primarily destined for landfills and incineration. This equates to the generation of 2 to 3 gigatons of CO2.

 

The construction sector is one of the fundamental pillars of our society, responsible for creating and maintaining the infrastructure that surrounds us. However, it is also one of the largest consumers of natural resources and waste producers, with CO2 emissions reaching 14.2 Gt per year. The demand for more sustainable construction has become an urgent need to combat the climate crisis and move towards Green Construction.
